Created attachment 193771 [details] Screencast of the weird behaviour Thank you very much for checking the bug report! I'm attaching a screencast of the weird positioning behaviour. I've tested it with latest LibreOffice from Flathub. It turns out that it's happening when the paragraph to which the image is anchored continues on next page. I've also managed to find a workaround. Instead of using Align Bottom to Anchor, using Align Top to Anchor whilst the image is anchored to the next paragraph, does the job with the positioning.
Thank you. Now I can reproduce (I've tested with image anchored to paragraph in footnote area). But the beviour is independent from alignment and has been reported in bug 129441. So I mark it as duplicate. Feel free to change it back to UNCONFIRMED with a short reasoning, if you disagree. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 129441 ***
