Description Darren 2024-04-07 15:17:54 UTC
Description:
When inserting a box shape or any shape, and adding text into that box or adding a text box on top of the original shape, nothing prints. NB: All check boxes to allow objects to be ticked are ticked. This bug was in an old version and still resides in this version.

NB: I Screen grabbed a picture using Microsofts snipit tool, and sent that to my printer and that printed ok, so it appears that LibreOffice has the issues. Libre Office does print plain text ok, but has issues sending objects to a printer.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add a shape, tried printing
2. Didnt work
3. Failed
Sorry I have no idea what this box is asking???

Actual Results:
Didn't work

Expected Results:
To print

Reproducible: Always

Please attach a sample file, reduce the size as much as possible without private information, and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.

Thank you for reporting this bug.

Unfortunately, without clear steps to reproduce it, we cannot track down the origin of the problem. Please provide a clearer set of step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the problem or a sample document where this behavior occurs.

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the required information is provided.

I don't have access to a physical printer at the moment, but Microsoft Print to PDF works fine with the steps. How does the problem manifest itself? Can you reproduce by printing to PDF?

I assume that step 2 involves right-click - Arrange - Send to back.
