okay, I realized that there is already a suggestion like this... (it mentions microsoft, but never mind :)) anyhow, this is absolutely a MUST :) the way I have come to the idea to suggest this was to observe myself... and finding it annoying that time after time I had to... I mean, I have to push away the cursor... then get it back.. when I need to edit something... but then.. after typing a few words, having to put it out of the way... out of the sight... the more you type, the faster, the more it's annoying... but let's go to overthere... https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97757
You didn't mention the information for the LibreOffice version. Please can you paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is an icon to copy. If Windows please take a look at https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=libreoffice+how+to+hide+cursor+while+typing&qpvt=libreoffice+how+to+hide+cursor+while+typing&view=riverview&mmscn=mtsc&mid=ECF269DC22CFCBA73B76ECF269DC22CFCBA73B76&&aps=15&FORM=VMSOVR
