okay, 
I realized that there is already a suggestion like this...
(it mentions microsoft, but never mind :))

anyhow, this is absolutely a MUST :)

the way I have come to the idea to suggest this was to 
observe myself...
and finding it annoying that time after time I had to...
I mean, I have to push away the cursor...
then get it back.. when I need to edit something...
but then.. after typing a few words, having to put it out of the way...
out of the sight...

the more you type, the faster, the more it's annoying...


but let's go to overthere...

You didn't mention the information for the LibreOffice version.
Please can you paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is an icon to copy.
