Description: Protect ratio as Image option Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attachment 185930 [details] 2. Press F4 3. In the position and size tab you have 'lock ratio' assuring resizing is done in ratio (OK) 4. Check the checkbox and press OK 5. Select the middle handle at the right and drag (it doesn't resize in ratio). Which makes the control in Image -> Position and size tab slightly ambiguous 6. Look at Image -> Options tab. Here we can protect Contents; position; size However it's impossible to protect simply the aspect ratio Actual Results: A) The lock ratio in Image -> Position and size tab is slightly ambiguous (IMHO) B) An option protect ratio is missing (at least in my opinion). Would also apply to Draw/Impress/Calc Expected Results: Regarding (A) no clue how to solve it (B) could/would be useful context of all the other protect options. And keep in mind: handles are harder to select with smaller images; so you might pick the wrong one. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 748561425774fa40ab685fed80d113f7e8301158 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
Seems it is in purpose, because using the corners, doesn't let to resize without keep the ratio.
Maybe with the option, only corners should be available to resize, to avoid mistakes.
