Follow-up to bug 155200, see c34 ff. The thumb area needs to cover larger font sizes.

What does "ff" mean?

Attachment 192140 [details] from bug 155200 comment 47 is a good sample of the issue.

Let's set to NEW per the screenshot attachment 192112 [details]. If the thumbnails would scale appropriately, there would be more space for the label texts as well and they would not get truncated awkwardly.

Oh dear, guys, do you know what I just noticed today, but which is also related to this problem? The submenu-opening-arrows for “Recent Documents” and “Templates” have also disappeared since the 7.4 version of LO-Writer – see examples.

IINM the splitbutton toggle/listing was removed [1] at 7.6 with per module filtering of bug 80934.

Now both the MRU thumbnails, and the Template thumbnails are filtered via list box above the SC backing window.

But looking again at the attachments, shows in 7.6 and 24.8 that the width of the SC is too narrow for the label text with larger UI scaling for some locales.
