Can't confirm on Windows
Although see something similar on Windows builds, with Application colors in Dark. Where if I force the icon theme to a dark variant from the Options -> View (rather than default of following system color theme) the text goes dark on dark canvas with Application Colors in Automatic. But then also applying a Dark icon theme, or Light icon theme, will invert the visible 'Label' of the Checkbox form control. So the form controls are being handled like icons? But fg/bg could be in the wrong theme color Light/Dark state?
