Description yapil75786 2024-05-21 01:29:59 UTC
Description:
Libreoffice Writer was a good software alternative to Word or even OnlyOffice however, it lacked the feature to export a pdf with bookmarks from headings which would help when navigating around the pdf I have exported. I usually have to convert my document to .docx then export that to a pdf to export the pdf with a bookmarks from heading. It would be great to have this feature to prevent interoperability and conversion issues when doing this task. Thanks.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a document
2. go to file --> export pdf
3. The settings does not have the feature to export headings as bookmark

Actual Results:
Pdf looks fine with links from table of contents however, does not have a bookmark.

Expected Results:
pdf with links from table of contents as well as having a bookmarks from headings

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
pdf with links from table of contents as well as having a bookmarks from headings

Have you tried using File > Export as > Export as PDF > General > Structure > Export outlines?
That option (which should be on by default) controls if the bookmarks are created.
If they don't show in your PDF reader, try a different one.
