Description: i have attached a sample file. the file opens properly in word 2020, it contains restricted editing and 3 rich form controls that are under a password "test". i expect the file to work in the same system and render properly and only allow editing in the 3 rich text control fields and no where else but none of that is working Steps to Reproduce: 1. open file in word. compare with attached pdf that was generated from word 2. open file in writer 3. Actual Results: 1. layout not according to word sample 2. does not respect file editing restrictions. Expected Results: file should exhibit the following behaviour. 1. it should render same as in word. layout 2. only rich controls should be editable 3. should not be able to edit rest of file 4. missing font should be replaced with alternates at least Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 24.2.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: da48488a73ddd66ea24cf16bbc4f7b9c08e9bea1 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 17763; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded and Version: 24.2.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 433d9c2ded56988e8a90e6b2e771ee4e6a5ab2ba CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-IN (en_IN); UI: en-US Calc: threaded

i have already given 2 versions of windows and linux. they both seem to render the file differently, perhaps because they are different versions
Sorry, but neither of the two sample files asks for a password.
Sorry, opening with Word or Writer
(In reply to m_a_riosv from comment #8) > Sorry, opening with Word or Writer sorry for not giving instructions https://erinwrightwriting.com/restrict-editing-in-microsoft-word/ follow this guide. add developer then restricted editing. it will ask to remove password
