Description johnks 2024-06-01 04:15:54 UTC
Description:
attached file contains a chart that is showing a label outside the boundary.

this appears to be a regression because the same file does not exhibit the error in 24.0.3 (but there too the label is too close to the boundary)

in 24.2.3.2 the text is outside the chart "accumulated retained earnings" label to be exact.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open file
2.
3.

Actual Results:
label is outside the chart

Expected Results:
text should be inside the chart like in excel

Reproducible: Always

I've seen this template before, it is from Microsoft. The font used is Franklin Gothic Book, probably not accessible to most testers (I don't have it).

This is one of those weird ones, where we can't see the issue in bibisect repos, but can in (Windows) release builds (24.2.5 and daily master build). I don't see this on Linux at all, however.

It's strange that attachment 194501 [details] is said to be from Linux.

The horizontal distance of the labels from the bars seems to have always been the same, checked in 6.0

The issue goes away in release builds, if I activate Skia from Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View - Use Skia for all rendering.

However, even if I *deactivate* Skia in bibisect builds, I can't see the issue!
