Actual Results: Print Command returns, yellow exclamation error, "Could not start printer, Please check your printer configuration" Expected Results: printing .docx file Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.4.7.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 40(Build:2) CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: x11 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Debian package version: 4:7.4.7-1+deb12u2 Calc: threaded
7.4 branch is a bit old. Please use a more recent LO version. Since you use Debian, you can use LO package from Debian testing instead of stable. BTW, "stable" is more for production servers, not for desktop. "testing" is a good compromise between stability and updated version.
Thank you so much for making commentary on this. Is the change you suggest an update or are you saying to uninstall and download a different version of Office Libre all over again?
Since you'll use Debian repositories, I suppose it would be the same. But if you want to be sure, you can uninstall LO 7.4.7.2 completely, then install the new version from testing repo. You can also try this in addition: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile
