I installed the latest version of libre office 24.2.3.2 on a new Lenovo ideapad 1i. When I open an existing spreadsheet I can enter data into 1 cell, but when I try to advance to the next cell, the program freezes and after a few seconds the software closes.

Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode

After testing this with several files and getting the same results, I opened one of the files on my old pc to make updates.  Then I re-opened the file on the Lenovo and it worked without a problem. I then re-tested the other files on the lenovo, without first opening them on the old pc, and they are also working. At this point, I not sure if this was an actual software bug or not.
