The style dialogs (Page style, paragraph style, character style, ...) all have a primary tab page called "Organizer" which contains general information about the style - name, inheritance, etc. This tab page should be renamed to "General" to reflect what it contains (general information about the style) instead of giving it a name "This is an Organizer". This is in line with other changes to have the labels as descriptive as possible while avoiding giving them names. See e.g. the recent change from "Extension Manager" -> "Extensions" ("Here you find Extensions", instead of "This is an Extension Manager")
This was committed as 797e879990f9db3373197a5a83639ad5aebba8c8 Opening this bug report after the fact as suggested in https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/166773/comments/30cad9d2_e070d9a6 to track further work, allow further discussions, etc.
I support the idea, although 'to organize' (a style) is/was not really deceptive.
This affects only master (and not 24.8), right? It makes all existing documentation obsolete.
(In reply to Martin Srebotnjak from comment #3) > This affects only master (and not 24.8), right? > It makes all existing documentation obsolete. This was already merged in 24.8, it hasn't branched off yet. Documentation update is tracked in bug 161402 but needs to happen before RC1, at the beginning of July (and cherrypicked to 24.8 once branched).
