I am using Fedora 40 (with all patches installed) When asking for Help - either from the main menu or from within a dialog -in LO writer, LO crashes immediately. This happens in LO Writer and LO Calc. Starting LO in secure mode makes no difference. I don't know since when this happens since I don't have to use the Help that often. Ben

Thank you. Should be resolved with the fix for bug 161073, available in the upcoming 24.2.4 release. (See its duplicate bug 161275.) Can you please confirm with the pre-release available at the bottom of this page? https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/ *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 161073 ***
Where can I find instructions on how to install multiple versions of LO? I don't want to change the default installation (even if it has bugs).
You can install a daily build, it will install in parallel: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/libreoffice-24-2/Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@tb99-TDF/current/
