Created attachment 194559 [details] File with partially protected cells, from Ask Ubuntu Some partially protected spreadsheet (which require filling out only specific cells) require drawing shapes on them. LibreOffice Spreadsheet cannot draw any cells on those cells. When I try to draw a shape, nothing happens. However, Microsoft Excel and OnlyOffice can draw shapes on such partially protected spreadsheets, as reported here: https://askubuntu.com/q/1516337/124466 Example spreadsheet: https://github.com/user-attachments/files/15542625/default.xlsx End goal: Something like this https://i.sstatic.net/cWJKayhg.png I am attaching a spreadsheet, which requires encircling the Male/Female option using a oval shape. It turns out that it is not possible to do so using LibreOffice.
Reproducible Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 32eaef8ddb7acbd8ab40c69acd9b8ca06a26b015 CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 22631); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
I confirm the bug on mint mate 21.2, which is based on ubuntu 22.04, and using libre office 7.3.7.2
