Description SANJU123 2024-06-20 04:40:02 UTC
Description:
When attempting to save a document in OpenOffice Writer, the application crashes without saving changes. This issue occurs consistently on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch OpenOffice Writer.
2.Create a new document or open an existing one.
3.Make edits to the document (e.g., type text, format paragraphs).
4.Attempt to save the document using either Ctrl+S or via the File > Save menu option

Actual Results:
OpenOffice Writer crashes abruptly. No changes are saved, and the document recovery option does not appear upon reopening the application.

Expected Results:
The document should save successfully without crashing the application. Upon reopening OpenOffice Writer, the saved changes should be retained.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
This issue started occurring after upgrading to version 4.1.9.
I have tried reinstalling OpenOffice, but the problem persists.
The crash does not generate any error messages or crash reports.
