Description Daniele 2024-06-21 11:13:38 UTC
Description:
In some cases, (sorry I was not able to reproduce sistematically), when writing in a note, text gets written in main document. It has happened to me on different documents. This is one of the reasons why I reverted back to 7.6.7.2
However it may affect previous versions as well (a collaborator submitted a text where the answer to the note was in the main text, but I cannot be sure whethere it was a mistake on his part or the same bug).

Actual Results:
Part of text written in main text

Expected Results:
Text intended for a note should never be written in the main document.

Reproducible: Always

Hello J A,
should I come across it again I'll pay more attention to its origin.

Let's set to "need info" then.

One thing that you can clarify straight away: this is about Writer comments, right?

Note that the keyboard shortcut to go back to the main text is Escape - in case that's inadvertently pressed.
Comment 4 Daniele 2024-07-08 17:19:01 UTC
Yes, Stéphane, it is about Writer comments, no I do not think I ever pressed esc.
