Description Megumi 2024-06-25 09:15:49 UTC
Description:
When I select-and-drag any cell-range (single cell or multiple cells), it works as expected for the first time. However, for the second time, as soon as I try select-and-drag for the same cell-range or a different one, Calc always crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In any spreadsheet document, select-and-drag a cell range to any location.
2.Try select-and-drag any cell-range.
3.Calc crashes.

Actual Results:
Calc crashes.

Expected Results:
A selected cell-range should have moved to a new dragged location.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I am attaching a screen recording to demonstrate this problem on my MacBook Air (M1 2020).

Thanks for the report.
This is most likely the same as bug 161461, which should be fixed in the next release.

Update: the fix for this bug is now available for Mac App Store version of LibreOffice:

https://apps.apple.com/app/libreoffice/id1630474372

If you bought LibreOffice in the Mac App Store, you can get the fix by opening the App Store application on your Mac and selecting the Store > Updates menu item.

Unfortunately, the fix is not yet available in an official release from the LibreOffice website. But a new LibreOffice version is expected to be released sometime later this month (July 2024). I will post an update when the LibreOffice website has the new version.
