On this machine :

LibreOffice : 7.4.7.2

What I see: 
I have always problems to so see the buttons in Calc, Writer and Impress on the toolbar, they are too clear / white on white : see my screenshot attached.

LibreOffice 7.4.7.2 went EOL over a year ago.

Meanwhile substantial rework of os/DE theme handling impacting icon themes used for button icons, including the VCL gen backend that Xfce would use.

Current release is 24.2.4, with 24.8.0 in late beta release.

Please check your Linux distributions repo and update to the 24.2 release and retest. Alternatively The Document Foundation publishes project built releases at: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/

ok thanks , I did not see it was so old !
I installed it in version 24 by snap.
