Description: Hi, I sometimes use Right-to-Left languages in my documents for which I need to have the associated RTL and LTR buttons to be visible on the Formatting Toolbar in LibreOffice Writer, but these buttons do not show on the toolbar after selecting them to show via the toolbar customization dialog box, even though there is enough space on the toolbar. I am using version 7.6.7.2 of LibreOffice (X86-64) Released by Arch Linux on Manjaro Linux Kernel 6.6 with KDE 6.0.5 on a Lenovo G50-70 Laptop The only issue I have had with this machine is that it gives me some hardware errors on startup only when using Linux, but never on Windows. I guess this has something to do particularly with Lenovo hardware, but otherwise all other Linux programs are working fine. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Tools 2.Customize 3.Select Right-to-Left 4.Select Left-to-Right 5.Press OK Actual Results: 1.6.No Right-To-Left and Left-To-Right buttons on Formatting Toolbar Expected Results: 1.The Formatting Toolbar should show the Right-To-Left and Left-To-Right Buttons since there is enough space on the toolbar Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes
Even the keyboard shortcut commands (Shift+Ctrl+A and Shift+Ctrl+D) do not work for resolving this problem
I have tried: Right-click on text area>Paragraph>Paragraph>Alignment>Properties>Text Direction>Left-To-Right. but that does not work either.
Hi I am happy to report that the said bug has been fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling LibreOffice.
