Description: I have LO 7.6.7.2 (I consider v7 the stable series) installed and keep getting the new version notice about the 24.2.4 version (I consider v24 the current series). Consider correcting the new version notice to only happen with the correct series. For those in the v7 only v7 updates and for those in the v24 only the v24 updates. Steps to Reproduce: There are no steps to reproduce except waiting for an update to happen. Actual Results: I receive a new version notice for LO v24 series, when I have the v7 series. Expected Results: I should only receive a new version notice for the LO installed series. It is correct because 7.6.7 is the last release of the 7.6 line.
I'm sorry, but I disagree. I'm sure there will be another stable version like 7.7 or 8. It should only warn about new versions on the same series.

We switched to calendar-based versioning. All of the non-beta releases are considered stable in any case.
