Description: ref. thread @ https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/copy-paste-bug-in-libre-writer/97394/23 for background. In *recent* version(s) of Writer & Calc I (& others) are finding that ctrl+C plain ASCII text (no accented or special characters) from another program, ctrl+V into Writer but instead of the new clipboard text, previous clipboard text is pasted. If I ctrl+V into another program that has a simple textbox (eg. Notepad & tested with various others) the correct clipboard contents are pasted. If I exit & re-run Writer then ctrl+V the correct clipboard contents are now pasted. If I run the VisualBasic program GetOpenClipboardWindow.exe it will always display message box text "Successfully opened & closed the clipboard", and now *without* closing Writer or Calc, a ctrl+V will work correctly. Am running Windows 11 23H2 build 22631.3880 although the Writer > Help > About displays Windows 10.0? Steps to Reproduce: 1. it may takes hours of editing, copying, pasting before this rejection of ctrl+V occurs, so no idea how to reproduce, except with time 2. select & ctrl+C of any plain ASCII text in 3rd party product 3. ctrl+V into Writer 4. eventually instead of pasting the current clipboard contents, the previous text is instead pasted Actual Results: the previous text is instead pasted Expected Results: the current clipboard contents are pasted Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 24.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: d56cc158d8a96260b836f100ef4b4ef25d6f1a01 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-AU (en_AU); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded
