The application crashes any time I close it with any kind of document open for editing, not with read-only documents. On restart it recovers the document(s). Starting LO 24.8 from terminal: $ libreoffice24.8 Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix> Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>] My Python macros and extensions do work. Sorry, I did not notice that 24.8.1 has been released which does not crash on my system. I'd suggest to close this issue.
Today I tried 24.8 a second time. Meanwhile I went with the stable version 24.2 because of regressions. Version: 24.8.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 48a6bac9e7e268aeb4c3483fcf825c94556d9f92 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: x11 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded The issue remains the same. I open any document, now or existing, Calc, Writer, Base, Impress, Math or Draw, exit the application, restart and get a crash report https://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/7e542b95-2e28-47b9-b8e2-246174198e67
Hello Andreas, Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile (<https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile>) and re-test? Also, meanwhile, 24.8 was released. Maybe it fixed your problem. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present.
