Created attachment 196937 [details] Demonstration video If you set LibreOffice's UI to "GroupedBar Compact" mode, the Draw app will show a redundant drawing tools toolbar on the left below the groupedbar, which is problematic because: * It keeps horizontally shifting the document's contents canvas left and right when you enter/exit text editing mode * All of its items are already present in the GroupedBar Compact toolbar above, they are 100% redundant. Please see the attached video. --- Tested with: Version: 24.8.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0f794b6e29741098670a3b95d60478a65d05ef13 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-CA (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Flatpak On Fedora 40's GNOME 46 Wayland session.
Created attachment 197363 [details] Nov 2nd: screenshot from Chika Hello Jeff, Thank you for reporting the bug. Unfortunately without clear steps to reproduce it (the provided demo had no contents as well), we cannot track down the origin of the problem. Please provide a clearer set of step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the problem. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the steps are provided. I tested in the following version & configurations. Attached my screenshot, as well: Version: 24.8.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0f794b6e29741098670a3b95d60478a65d05ef13 CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 13.6.3; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Sincerely, Chika
> without clear steps to reproduce it As described above, steps are simply: set the UI mode to "GroupedBar Compact" mode. Duplicate drawing tools will show up on the left as a vertical toolbar. If you are not experiencing the issue on macOS, then I suppose it might be specific to the Linux/GTK3 version. > the provided demo had no contents as well That MP4 H.264 video plays fine here.
