Description Cellocommander 2024-10-31 10:11:01 UTC
Description:
For use in mail merge form letters I use ods files as databases to send different information from my spread sheets in calc to different recipients. It has been working for many years. In writer I use a document with fields to import the info from the ods "database". I can change the database via the "edit / change databases" dialog, which works, and in "view / data sources" I can see the correct new database fields with the correct data. But as soon as I want to print the serial letter, it says "data source cannot be found" and shows the old, nonexisting database file lefthand in the dialog before the new, correct one and it tries to use the old one above, having failed to update it. This must be a bug.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. import and renew database (ods) for use in serial form letters
2. show "view / data source" : output correct, database
3. try to actually print serial form letter

Actual Results:
error message "data source cannot be found", showing outdated old database field above new one, failed to clear/update it

Expected Results:
print with data from new source

Reproducible: Always
