Rafael, please take a look on this bug, Color picker is disabled in all of the dialogs using it: Page background, shape background, so on... So, we can not use color picker, we are limited to the color offered by the pallete. I consider this to be a High importance bug, it is a thing that is available in LibreOffice, but not usable.
I reverted in my build, and it will work fine, without that patch.
With STR of comment 0 no issue using the "Area..." dialog's 'Color' panel and making a color 'Pick' with the 'Pick a color' popup widget. The same 'Pick a color' widget is also available for Font, Highlight, Line, Fill color. The picker functions correctly on Windows build with en-US, regardless of the actual palette selection made (Standard, LibreOffice, HTML, etc.) So, os/DE and locale specific issues? =-testing-= Version: 25.8.2.2 (X86_64) Build ID: d401f2107ccab8f924a8e2df40f573aab7605b6f CPU threads: 28; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
Working well on Windows, is just a Linux bug. Version: 25.8.2.2 (X86_64) Build ID: d401f2107ccab8f924a8e2df40f573aab7605b6f CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (build 19045); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: ro-RO (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
