Screencast

1. Type the following into three cells:

The anthropic principle states that…
Better be anthropic than misanthropic, ok?
One more occurrence of anthropic that’s spell-checked

2. Notice the alleged spelling mistakes

3. Right click on the first spelling mistake

4. Add the word to the dictionary

5. Notice how the other occurrences of the word are still underlined as errors

PS: this would should have been in the dictionary already - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthropic_principle, but Firefox also lacks it (do they uss the same dictionary?)

I still see this in 24.8.4.2.

I was able to reproduce the bug. However, only the word "ok" was marked as a spelling mistake for me so I wrote the text "Is this ok?" to the fourth cell. When I right clicked the first occurence of the word "ok" which was marked as a spelling mistake and added it to the dictionary the other occurence of the word "ok" was still marked as a spelling mistake.

However I noticed that when I clicked the cell that contained the text "Is this ok?" and pressed Enter the "ok" in the text "Is this ok?" was not marked as a spelling mistake anymore. I also wrote the text "Is this ok?" to the fifth cell and the word "ok" was not marked as a spelling mistake.

I tested this with the stable version of the LibreOffice (25.2.2.2).

I tested this bug with the master. I right clicked the word "ok" that is underlined as a spelling mistake and select Add to Dictionary... After this the word "ok" is still underlined as a spelling mistake. After I do a manual spell-checking by clicking the first cell and select Tools | Spelling and close the Spelling dialog the underlines disappear.
