Created attachment 200186 [details] Localization file for Gronings, based on the Dutch locale file nl_NL.xml I created a locale data file for the Gronings language (ISO 639-3: gos) based on the Dutch locale file (nl_NL.xml). From Eike on the mailing list I understood that it still needs some editing. The file (gos_NL.xml) provides locale information for users who wish to set Gronings as the default language. I created a Gronings spell checker, for which I am told this locale data is necessary. While the spell-checking extension works, setting the language as default seems to not be available until the locale data is properly registered. This file should resolve that.
Thanks. I'll do the necessary edits to the file. Note that locale data is _not_ necessary for a spell checker to work, but only to have a language/locale being offered as selectable default document language. Meanwhile.. Apparently we don't have your license statement on file, could you please send us a blanket statement that you contribute all your past and future patches under the MPLv2 and LGPLv3+ licenses? Best on the dev mailing list libreoffice@lists.freedesktop.org so we can link to it from https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Developers Something like this does nicely: All of my past & future contributions to LibreOffice may be licensed under the MPLv2/LGPLv3+ dual license. Best use Subject: <your full name> license statement Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for cooperating :-)

Note that for 25.2.3, as the UI string for the the language list entry is omitted to not interfere with the release's UI string freeze, the entry with strings obtained from ICU is displayed as gos (Netherlands) {gos-NL}
