Open a Writer file in a folder you didn't use for last Writer file.
Go to "File" → "Save As".
Folder for last saved Writer file will be opened.

Expected behavior:
Folder for the current opened Writer file will be opened.

Version: 24.8.6.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

will show the buggy behavior, also newer versions.

Older versions like LO 7.6 will show the folder for current file.

Sounds like a duplicate of https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165917

Seems the buggy behavior doesn't appear in this version. Will set this one as a duplicate.
