Description Eyal Rozenberg 2025-04-21 19:02:37 UTC
When I add a video or audio clip to my presentation, I want to see the controls not just doing the slide show, but also when it's not running, when editing my slides. I want to be able to set the position using such controls - both for playing back to see where I'm at while editing, and as a way to set what time position to start playback from during the actual slideshow. And I want to control the volume during that playback. And I want to see the time position vs total time. etc.

Typical indicator for a video is a large white semi-transparent triangle with round edges. I'm surprised top not find a ticket on this.

Me too. In this bug, I'm not picky about which controls - but it needs to be _something_. One something is implemented someone (maybe me, may be not) may have qualms about which controls are available under what conditions: Slideshow mode/Slide edit mode, Item playing/not playing, Audio vs Video etc.
