Description SATYA SRINIVAS K 2025-05-14 05:00:32 UTC
Description:
With specific Word files, the page number in the footer of the document changes the font and is not identical from the original when viewed or exported to pdf.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Convert the attached docx file ("test.docx") to pdf.
2.Observe page numbers in the footer.
3.The page numbers are not appearing as they are in the original document.
4.But MS office converted PDF shows them same as in original docx file.

Actual Results:
There is a change in size of the page numbers in the footer of the page when viewed in the Libre office as well as in the PDF converted using Libre office.

Expected Results:
The page number in the footer of the pages shouldn't change in size from the original

Reproducible: Always

The difference seams to be at opening times. Writer applies font size 12 to numbers, while Word applies font size 6 to numbers and font size 12 is only applied after the number

Don't know which one has the right implementation

There is an Asian character direct formatting - Chart Height Asian 12,
on the page numbers in the file.

Opening your provided .doc in MS Word has the page numbers in 6pt but opening it in LO Writer displays the page numbers in 12pt. Exporting to PDF produces the correct size page numbers (12pt from Writer and 6pt from Word).
