Files list displays for items on phone and on Google drive. However, tapping does not open them. Can't open any file. I checked the FAQ, couldn't find anything useful there. Tried selecting the experimental option. Didn't help.
Some questions: 1) Is the "Files list" you refer to a file manager app or is that (also) the case when trying to open files from within the app, i.e. starting LibreOffice Viewer and then tapping on "Select File to Open"? Both ways should work, but some file managers don't pass the files correctly, which could be related here. 2) Does anything happen when you tap on a file (like some error message being shown) or is there simply no observable reaction at all? 3) What's your Android version? 4) How did you install LibreOffice Viewer (Google Play/F-Droid?)? 5) Does uninstalling and reinstalling the app make any difference?

Previously .odp files could be opened (Read Only) with an Android phone. An .odp file created today, Jan 17, 2026, cannot be opened on that same Android phone, even though the first screen is displayed in the email with "filename.odp, then a download arrow, then "Upload to Drive" icon." If I click on the filename, the phone hangs with a screen that seemingly portrays individual frames without any data; and states above "Read Only - To make changes, save a copy of this file into a Microsoft Office file format. ... button to 'Save a Copy' ... button to 'Dismiss'". [There is another "Read Only - Save a coy to edit" with the same 2 buttons. This option is not important to me.] There are several people (including my husband), important in several organizations, that need to be able the .odp files that I send them! NOTE: My LibreOffice has been rercently updated!! Seems this bug needs to be changed to NEEDINFO.
