Description Carl Sopchak 2025-07-11 19:51:05 UTC
Description:
In LibreCalc, when editing conditional formats, when a condition is modified, part of the Manage dialog becomes transparent, including where the main OK & Cancel buttons and the list of conditions affecting the cell.

Note that the buttons, although transparent, are functional (if you know where to click).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on cell, with or without conditional formatting already defined.
2.  Format --> Conditional --> Manage
3. Add or select a condition to edit.
4. Add/Edit the condition. DO NOT MOVE THE EDIT CONDITION PANEL. (Nothing needs to be changed on an existing condition to continue.)
5. Press the OK button on the Edit Condition panel.

Actual Results:
The Manage Dialog has transparent sections. Screenshot attached.

Expected Results:
The full dialog should be displayed as was done when the Manage Dialog was first displayed.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: en-US
Module: SpreadsheetDocument
[Information guessed from browser]
OS: Linux (All) Fedora 41, up-to-date
OS is 64bit: yes

Note that if you do move the Edit Condition panel before pressing its OK button (step 5), the Manage dialog will display normally, however, closing it and re-opening it will show the issue.

Once the issue is seen, it remains until Calc is closed and re-opened.

When I started Calc in Safe Mode, the steps above did work correctly the first time, but re-opening the Manage Conditional Formatting dialog DID show the issue.

Please attach a sample file, reduce the size as much as possible without private information,
and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.

I did attach a sample of the dialog after the issue. The pic shows the Manage Conditional Formatting dialog box, as seen at the top of the pic. The window title bar shows the size of the dialog box. The dialog box is slightly smaller than the pic size. The black background-ed portion is the normal dialog content (using a dark mode theme). What you see to the right and below the black portion shows the transparency. The transparent section of the dialog and the little extra shown outside the full dialog box shows the window behind the dialog, which was the web page that I filed this bug report in.

(I wasn't sure what status I should change this report to, but NEEDINFO is incorrect and I didn't want to leave it in that state. Let me know if that should have been UNCONFIRMED.)
