Description bram.bugzilla 2025-09-27 20:45:15 UTC
Description:
As soon as you insert a chart in a drawingm the sidebar deck with the properties of the chart has and overlap with the main central drawing area. The slider is drawn over the sidebar deck, if the mouse goes over one of the sidebar deck items it gets redrawn left of the slider bar, and is then moved by that slider bar. If you resize the window the sidebar deck is not redrawn at all it seems (just a black area). I first noticed it on a 24.x release, installed 25.8.1.1 but the problem is still there.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start new libreoffice draw drawing
2.insert chart (still appears ok at this point)
3.move mouse cursor to center right of screen over the sidebar deck, the slider bar will be drawn over the sidebar deck.
4. resize the window for more fun visual corruptions

Actual Results:
the slider bar will be drawn over the sidebar deck, or de sidebar deck is not drawn at all anymore

Expected Results:
usable sidebar deck

Reproducible: Always
