Description: Suggesting to update the following action name in "Customize - Keyboard (tab)" "New" = "New Spreadsheet" Actual Results: Expected Results: Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info:
There are 2 "New" functions in the Customize keyboard dialog. New (.uno:StyleNewByExample) https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/UI/GenericCommands.xcu?r=3e257b6b836766abfeec72e6db9a3e453788902a#3199 New (.uno:AddDirect) https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/UI/GenericCommands.xcu?r=3e257b6b836766abfeec72e6db9a3e453788902a#3313 The suggestion "New Spreadsheet" does not apply because the command AddDirect is global and active for the current component. The shortcut is Ctrl+N. Renaming bug title. Suggestion instead .uno:StyleNewByExample = "New Style by Example" .uno:AddDirect = "New Document" or "New File"
(In reply to Olivier Hallot from comment #1) > .uno:StyleNewByExample = "New Style by Example" The tooltip is "New Style from Selection" but I suggest to simply go with "New Style"; the label is only relevant for the customize dialog. > .uno:AddDirect = "New Document" or "New File" I'd pick Document. The command needs a short ContextLabel, ie. the current New. The longer label would be shown on the Notebookbar. Acceptable IMO.
