Description: I have been having issues with images that look okay in edit mode seeming to disappear in slide show mode. Sometimes I can see what looks like a corner of the original image, so maybe it is being scaled, shifted, or cropped? I will attach a sample with two images. In edit mode, both are visible and placed where I want them. When I start the slide show, sometimes one or both images are gone in the display, and sometimes one or both are gone on the presenter screen (and sometimes they are gone in both places). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the file (to be attached) and start a slide show 2. 3. Actual Results: The people and check mark images both disappear on the slide show display, the presenter display, or both. Expected Results: The images should appear as they do in edit mode. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I am running Fedora 43 on an x86_64 machine, and am using the Fedora-supplied RPMs, currently libreoffice-impress-25.8.5.2-1.fc43.x86_64. No difference between edit mode, and presentation mode. The same images. Version: 26.2.0.3 (X86_64) Build ID: afbbd0df0edb6d40b450b0337ac646b0913a760c CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.17; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: ro-RO (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
I can confirm this for presenter console. I have only one monitor, but when I set Slide show > Slide show setting > Presenter console Windowed, the images in the presenter console disappear. I can see images in the slide show. I think that the images are not real images, but shapes. You can see in the navigator Shape1 (Custom shape:ooxml-rect). Workaround: copy, paste shape create image, which should not disappear. Version: 26.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) Build ID: a8ae0abbd646443a65dc2e5f44c395fb5a454a29 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded

The workaround works! Thank you so much!
