Works well with kf6/gen but not with gtk3.

Heiko Tietze committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":

Resolves tdf#171754 - Use standard controls for the donation bar

It will be available in 26.8.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at
https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More

Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.

The background color is available as property but not the font color. It follows the definition via Tools > Options > Appearance.
