Description Hans Zekl 2026-04-26 01:31:55 UTC
Description:
I have a greater Base application.

When I call LibreOffice to ende the program LibreOffice closes all windows but runs for about 45 seconds on my laptop in the background until it disappears in the task manager of Windows 11.

But when shutdown the laptop to early my latest date updates are beeing lost.

Therefore it would be nice to present a window with a proper text that the program is closing until all data are written to the disk.

Thank you

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select program end from the file menu
2.Check with the task manager when LibreOffice finally stops running
3.

Actual Results:
All LibreOffice windows are closing but the programmis still running for a while. I think it is paccking all data again

Expected Results:
Present a window informing the user that Libreoffice ist still working and saving the data

Reproducible: Always

Please inform the nature of your database setting.

Is it connected to a networked server or a local server? Is it a Base file with local HSQLDB or Firebird DB?

Can you monitor the LibreOffice process after closing LibreOffice?

(I'm attempting to narrow the issue)

It is a Base file with local HSQLDB.

I see it running in the Task Manager of Windows.
