Description:
Without modification of the appearanc, the page border was sometimes invisible, i.e. white/missing page border on the white application color (see on the attached screenshot).

A possible problem with the automatic settings of the appearance?

Solution or workaround: Enabling Shadows [x] Show in documents in Customizations part of Tools->Options->LibreOffice->Appearance (which was disabled interestingly).

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a document with multiple pages.

Actual Results:
Sometimes missing page border.

Expected Results:
Visible page border.

Important detail: UWQHD (Ultra-Wide Quad High Definition) monitor with 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution.

Since you have a modern setup (RTX 4060 + Ultrawide resolution), the disappearing borders in LibreOffice are likely not a hardware failure but a friction point between the software's rendering engine and hardware acceleration.

LibreOffice tries to utilize your GPU to render the user interface. Sometimes, there is a mismatch between Nvidia drivers and LibreOffice's rendering engine, leading to "disappearing" UI elements.

Hi László, I don't see an issue with a nVidia RTX 4060 TI on a 4K display, MS DWM seems to handle the AppFrame scaling of the LO UI with no issue either skia Vulkan of skia raster framing.

I do see some issues as I change between os/DE DWM color scheme if LO appearance is in either Light or Dark instead of Automatic. So I tend to just leave it in automatic. No issue is I check enabled LO appearance themes and select a light or dark theme appropriate to the os/DE DWM color scheme in use. I tend not to try to mix a light appearance theme with a dark os/DE color scheme or vice-versa.

Could your visual glitches on the ultra-widescreen be the skia Vulkan driver?  

What nVidia driver are you running? 

You can identify with the 'vulkaninfo' report from cmd window, or a run of 'msinfo32'.

For example, I get the below from vulkaninfo for my working daily driver. Though it looks like I'm a bit behind as they've released 610.47, 596.49 this month, and a later 595.97 update.
