This has been introduced with https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/187741. Seems to allow to switch from one view to another (via uno:CurrentSheetVIew after running "New Sheet View"/.uno:NewSheetView). Some other commands allow to switch between the views.

Cannot confirm this command in master build. 
Not available in Help -> Search command. 
Not available in experimental mode.

Is this feature valid for LibreOffice?

You need to customize the commands into the UI:

New Sheet View/.uno:NewSheetView
Exit Sheet View/.uno:ExitSheetView
Remove Sheet View/.uno:RemoveSheetView
Select Sheet View/.uno:SelectSheetView

There is also .uno:SwitchToNextSheetView and .uno:SwitchToPreviousSheetView but it seems to be a left-over and I'm looking when the in actual commands got removed. Tomaz submitted a bunch of patches about *SheetView.

Thanks for the pointers.

As of today, the feature in its current state has little or no value for the end user. Let's wait for more developments.

Well, quickly switching the auto filter on/off might become handy.
