Created attachment 42561 [details] Check box 3d rendering problem The check box in Libreoffice-Calc is not rendered in 3d-look. It is configured as 3d and in previous OpenOffice versions it rendered correct. The push-buttons and the text-box will be rendered in 3d. See the attachment.
NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.3.0 RC4 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (build 6 / tag 3.3.0.4)]". For me look of the checkbox changes when switching 3D on/off. We had a discussion in OOo: <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=93440> <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=104747> Whatever the result might mean for LibO. @starmatz71@yahoo.de: Please contribute information concerning your OS. Why did you select Component "Chart"? Seeing the screenshots I would have expected "Spreadsheet". Do you also see your Problem in WRITER?
can't reproduce on linux ( opensuse ) 64 bit
Oh sorry, my fault (i am from germany) the correct program i meant is spreadsheet and not chart, but it also occures in impress, draw and writer, i think it is a problem in all components of libreoffice. Sorry, i have try to reproduce it in WindowsXP and the rendering of the check box is correct there. This problem occures in Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat 10.10 64-Bit on two different machines (one with intel and one with a nvidia grafic card. I'd download the packages from the libreoffice.org website and installed it manually. Can i give you any information you need?
I've discoverd that this rendering problem does not occures with the Kubuntu-Desktop (KDE 4.5.5) on the same machine. Perhaps it is a problem with the gtk-integration for gnome? In OpenOffice 3.2.1 the check box look ok on the same pc.
We should come to a decision here, @starmatz71: Still a problem for you?
(In reply to comment #5) > We should come to a decision here, > > @starmatz71: > Still a problem for you? Yes, it is still present in LibO 3.3.2 in Ubuntu 11.04. In LibO 3.4.0 there is no difference between 3D and flat style in WinXP if you zoom in! (And btw the option button looks very pixel-8-bit-bitmap-stylish if you zoom in - this could be better! *g*) (see new attachments) I give the 3.3.3 a try and report later.

Created attachment 55997 [details] LibO-3.5.0rc1 WinXP: Checbox 3d style looks flat - zoomlevel 400% This bug is still in LibO 3.5.0rc1! The checkbox is rendered flat, in the controlfield settings it is set to 3d.
It looks very strange on formulars!

Created attachment 67645 [details] LibO-3.5.7.1 XP: Checkbox flat, Optionfiled flat bitmap - Print Preview Libre Office 3.5.7 RC1: The rendering problem is still in LibO and is a regression to pre LibO releases. Also while printing these checkboxes are not 3D, they are still flat.
And finally the bug make it's debut in Libre Office V4.0.0.3. The checkbox looks like a graphic on a 8-Bit C-64 homecomputer in the eighties. Another ugly thing is, that on the screen it is a check mark and if you print the document it is a cross inside a box?!? If I could I would help to fix this bug but i don't know how i can do that. The complet LibO SourceCode is like a big pyramid of chaotic glyphs to me. Can someone fix this sometimes? Thank you!
