Save spreadsheet as Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP format where (as I understand it) 'Optimal Row Height...' has been used and entries are crowded to the top of cells:

Opening this file does not display "Adapt Row Height" as when opening the below two

Opens correctly when saved as ods or Excel 95 format:
