Created attachment 45410 [details] This is a screendump of the sorting dialog-window I am using LibreOffice 3.3. I have tried to sort a file containing bank-account information in Calc. The information is setup in columns e.g Date, Name, Bank-account, Amount, Description. This information is set-up starting with the last date. For checking the bank-account, I would like to sort the information on the date in a reverse sequence. Usually, in Openoffice it was possible to select the column-name, e.g. A, B C etc. However, in the new version of Libreoffice, it appears, that starting with sorting, in the dialog-window of sorting (Tools, Sorting) in the field of column-name, the contents of the cell, e.g. 01-04-2011 instead of the column-nam A. Tjat means, that it is impossble to sort the data on date. The same happens with other columns.
Please make sure that the second checkbox of Opties tab (Bereik bevat kolomkoppen) is not checked. I've just tried it in LibreOffice 3.3.2 and sorting works as expected.
Dear Andras Timar, Thanks for helping me. In the dutch version you have to remove the checkboxes for semicolon and spaces . Now it works as it should be. your sincerely, Paul L.M. van Tooren -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- From: bugzilla-daemon@freedesktop.org Sent: Friday, April 08, 2011 2:06 PM To: plmvantooren@hetnet.nl Subject: [Bug 36067] Sorting in Calc does not work in version 3.3 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36067 Andras Timar <timar74@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |WORKSFORME --- Comment #1 from Andras Timar <timar74@gmail.com> 2011-04-08 05:06:36 PDT --- Please make sure that the second checkbox of Opties tab (Bereik bevat kolomkoppen) is not checked.
