I wanted to copy and paste a table from a website into the diagram table, but all the content was pasted into a single cell. In Calc everything was preserved.
@alexander.wilms@live.com: Please contribute information - concerning a sample table in the web - concerning your LibO version and OS
I can't paste any data containing more than 1 cell to the chart data table. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open new Spreadsheet 2. create some data 3. Create small diagram (see "myspreadsheet.ods" from testkit) 4. Copy / Paste diagram to text document (see "mytext.odt" from testkit) 5. Switch back to "myspreadsheet.ods" 6. Select 'B2:C13' 7. <ctrl+c> for copy 8. Switch to "myspreadsheet.ods" 9. Dobule click chart 10. context menu > Data Table 11. Try to paste data range from clipboard expected: Data will be replaced by identical data actual: all data from clipboard will be inserted into 1 cell Corresponding OOo bug is "enhance chart data table editing options (copy/paste ranges)"
@Rainer Bielefeld: Right. Tried that, too but forgot to mention it here.

*** Bug 66233 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I fully agree that bug 66233 is a dublicate of this bug. As mentioned in comment 4 of bug 66233, problem remains still in 4.2.4.2 I willing to contribute but cannot write source code. This bug appears to me as a major productivity slow down.
Reproducible with Version: 4.3.0.4 Build-ID: 62ad5818884a2fc2e5780dd45466868d41009ec0
