Microsoft Word and WordPerfect have a straightforward keyboard combination for setting small capitals (Ctrl+Shift+K and Alt+K respectively). This is really helpful, as there are many situations in which this is a key formatting element (used, for example, instead of italics). Currently, LibreOffice does not even provide an option for this in the keyboard shortcut editor. Could this be added, ideally with a default shortcut that follows that from Word?

For creating small capitals manually in Writer: Select some text, then Format->Character, tab "Font Effects", element "Effects", variant "Small capitals". Possible workaround: create custom character style where "Small capitals" enabled and assign it to keyboard combination in Tools->Customize.
