Description Laurent Balland 2011-08-23 10:03:52 UTC
Hello,

This is the continuation of OOo issue 34093:
Force linear regression curve to go through zero point (origin) or other Y-value defined
http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34093

Force intercept would be a nice option for trend lines. Some file format modifications are required as for bug 35712:
add polynomial regression type trend line
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35712

You can find on this last bug two documents presenting file format modification and a draft for user interface.

Hello,

New version of CorelPoly (v 1.0!) available on
http://extensions-test.libreoffice.org/extension-center/improved-trend-lines/

Now all classic regression are included with forced intercept.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
