Created attachment 56728 [details] unable to identify selected filter criterion what is: i'm unable to see which filter criterion is selected, all icons have the same appearance; what should be: the icon of the selected filter criterion should be marked (blue triangle in the icon's center) screenshot attached btw, i would suggest to invert the coloring of the selected filter icon, since blue and black are really difficult to distinguish
Thanks for bugreport Please, attach small ods document that demonstrates this problem
HI, with LO 3.5.3 i am unable to reproduce this bug, so it seems to be ok; anyway i would like to recommend an inverted "filter icon" for selected criteria. This would be much easier to recognize than with the current "blue" triangle. regards tom
Thanks for additional testing > anyway i would like to recommend an inverted "filter icon" Please, create new bugreport for it and attach there: 1. ods document where such filter applied. On this document developers and other people may experiment for determine which appearance of filter is better and more handy to use 2. screenshot of current situation 3. Picture, how it should be (just replace color of icons on screenshot or something like this)
Created attachment 62537 [details] LO calc file with filters set
bug is reopened; as per attached lo calc file, you can't see which columns are filtered from the filter icon (should be a blue triangle); i chose two filter criteria, perhaps there the problem is?
Thanks for attachment. But there is nothing filtered out. May be wrong wile attached
i've checked and i confirm my previous bug..look at the line numbering, outer left (screenshot); try to filter a calc sheet with two criteria (from the standard filter) close it afterwards and reopen it. rgds tom
Created attachment 62557 [details] screenshot filter bug
ok, now i can reproduce it: in the ods file i've attached, filter AVOL>=200 AND PRC>=5; you will see the indicated filter (blue triangle); close the file and then reopen it and you can see that there is still the filter active, but in the standard filter (drop down) the fields are empty...can't be normal. rgds tom
Thanks for additional information. Sorry for not understand from first attempt. Indeed, in column z and aa some problem. Filter applied, but not shown. reproduced in 3.3.4 and 3.5.4 on Fedora 64 bit (Windows not tested) Changing version to 3.3.4 as most early reproducible
