Description James A. Schulz 2012-02-15 01:44:52 UTC
Problem description: a weird interaction between the Standard and Formatting toolbars. I cannot get both the Spelling & Grammar button and the Auto-Spellcheck button showing on the Standard toolbar for more than a moment, because when I try to get both the Increase Indent and Decrease Indent buttons showing on the Formatting toolbar, I lost the Auto-Spellcheck button on the Standard toolbar (and sometimes the Spelling & Grammar button as well). The same thing happens (the other way round) if I start trying to configure the Formatting toolbar.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Try to get all four of the button mentioned above showing on their respective toolbars.
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior: as described (note also: both toolbars sometimes show right-facing guillemets (ยป). If I click on this character, the configure menu for the toolbar opens.

Expected behavior: should show all four buttons

Platform (if different from the browser): Windows 7 Professional, LO 3.5

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/535.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/16.0.912.77 Safari/535.7

Thanks for additional testing.
Sorry, can not reproduce in 3.5.3 on Fedora 64 bit and Windows XP 32 bit

Checked with:
LO 3.5.5.3
Build ID: own W7 debug build
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit

Could not reproduce. All fine with default toolbars here.
Did you customized them between updates? Tried to reset their settings? Installed some extensions? Checked with clean install?

I'm closing this as WORKSFORME as I'm also not able to reproduce.

@James - if this is still a problem please let us know what version you're running. Also try backing up your user settings and then delete them so that LibO is running from a fresh config. Lastly, if it's still an issue, let us know and reopen this as UNCONFIRMED and we'll try to track down what's going on.
