LO 5.2.2.2 (x64), Window$ 7 Ultimate SP1 x64:
1) the W3C file, apart from the right star's middle not being filled, looks exactly the same as rendered by Firefox 49.0.2 (x64).
2) The 'another sample' file shows 2 squarish shapes (I've forgotten their correct name) without any kinda filling at all, while Firefox 49.0.2 (x64) shows left one with blue filling in both areas and the right one with the middle not filled and the outer area filled with blue. Otherwise identical.
Comment 9 Regina Henschel 2016-11-14 12:13:15 UTC
@Jouni Järvinen: Please read the description in the W3C SVG test suite file, what the image should show to pass the test.

It is a file open problem and therefore a "wontfix", see linked bug 88277.

There exists no error in case Insert > Image in LO5.2

LO 6.0.4

import correct if use Insert->Image and not correct if use File-Open

imho, this is WFM, but can wait release of 6.1
