[3] Insert a drawing, e. g. a rectangle. [4] Insert a form control, e. g. a check box. [5] Reset option "LibreOffice Writer > View > Display > Drawings and controls". Drawing and form control are still visible. Expected behaviour: No display of drawing and form control, if option is reset. Also observed in V. 3.4.6 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.28) Gecko/20120306 Firefox/3.6.28

Bug still exists in version 4.4.1 with Win7. Meanwhile I doubt if there are real use cases where it is necessary to hide drawings and controls from display. I did not found a single bug report where a user complaints that this option does not work. Hence to my opinion it should be taken into account to remove this option.
