The formatting doesn't carry over from Default to First/Last Page, even before editing them separately from the Default. Plus, first and last pages are not assigned to their page templates.
@jimmyli1528: Could you please elaborate? A step-by-step description what you are doing, what results you get, and what you are expecting would help to reproduce the problem. How I would create a First Page (and how it works for me): 1) Move Cursor to top of document 2) Insert > Manual Break > Type:Page break, Style:Default 3) Go to top again 4) Assign First Page Template (Right click on second field in status bar, select First Page) Similar with last page: 1) Move Cursor to bottom of document 2) Insert > Manual Break > Type:Page break, Style: chose whatever style or create a new one first)
